Box was a little dinged up when it arrived so was hoping not too much damage. The tubes to connect the handles to the frame were bent and out of round. Fortunately was able to use pliers to round them with stripping the threads. Installing the divider that runs down the middle of each shelf was also tricky and extremely tight, I used a rubber mallet and they popped into place, but one of the wire ends popped it’s weld while trying to push it in. Still fully functional.Anyway, it is fine and doing it’s job now. Much cheaper than other similar-sized items, but can be tricky to put together and could easily be unassemblable. If not handy, might want to go with a more easily assembled shelf. The package arrived undamaged, but the contents looked like someone had crimped pounded or stood on the male & female threaded ends of the metal posts. It took over an hour to use a smaller round metal pipe to manually 're-round' the posts so the handles could be attached.Other book carts cost twice as much, so it was worth it to take some time and repair the cart. The cart holds a lot of books and supplies, so all-in-all, it will be a good medium weight cart to replace the shopping cart we used to use in the library. From opening the box till placing the first book on the cart was about 45 minutes. The directions are adequate to figure out how to assemble but they don't do a lot of explaining. If you look at the diagrams you can figure it out. Which is to say that assembly could be easier but once you figure it out it all clicks into place and is very, very sturdy. It holds a lot of books of all sizes very comfortably. It rolls nicely on carpet as well as bare floors. A good value for those needing a little extra storage. The cart has two shelves that are divided length-wise down the middle resulting in effectively 4 shelves for books. This wire book cart is easy to put together for anyone who has ever worked with wire shelving (just make sure your pairs of black sleeves are pointing with the tapered end up.) I would not call it industrial grade, but we are using it in a household in place of a bookshelf. It holds tons of books without bending or buckling (we have it full on both sides,) and the wheels, while not fantastic, are adequate to move it around a bit (one reviewer replaced these with larger, heavy duty wheels which is an easy upgrade, but we don't find that necessary. If you are going to be using this as a rolling cart constantly, do upgrade the wheels.) Considering the price and free two-day delivery via Prime, it is an exceptional value, coming in at less than half of competing solid-steel shelves (there is also considerable freight on the solid-shelf types.) The open look of the wire is airier if you are going to have it in your house, as opposed to the slab-like appearance of the library-style units.I've bought maybe 5 of these carts now. One of the first two broke. Can't order replacement part through the manufacturer or the distributor. Had to get whole new replacement. One of the replacements came without a leg. The second replacement was damaged so a part couldn't be screwed in.Helpline was unhelpful. Amazon was unhelpful. I'm just looking for some decent book cart that don't break immediately or before arrival.Do yourself a favor and find another way to hold your books.Bought one of these for a mission for Children’s books. It was perfect.Bought a second and one of the handles had factory damage.Manufacturer said it was Amazon responsibility. Amazon said manufacturers responsibility. Manufacturer won’t respond after letter with picture of damaged handle and screenshot of Amazons response. So I have no help with the issue from anyone. I can’t put this together without the handle. The mission is needing this for the children. While it is mot as expensive as most of the other book carts, it is also a case of "you get what you pay for". One of the hooks on the lateral racks that provide stability to the shelves snapped otf the first time that books shifted on the shelf. I have reinforced those connections with zip-ties.While it works in my classroom, I have to be careful when I am moving it, and do not feel secure having my students move the cart, due to the lack of structural integrity. It does provide a relatively low cost way to store, display, and even move books around, but I wish it were sturdier.Having the option of a third shelf might help with that, as well as allowing more flexibility in usage. There was nothing right about this item. I believe we may have been sent a return item rather than a new item. This item should have easily screwed together and been a 30 minute job at the most. The threads did not match, therefore requiring some muscle power to even get them started, not to mention how long and how many times we tried to get them to work. The pieces were scared up (the shelf was supposed to be black and the black paint is all scared up in several places. The pieces where the books load on the shelves are very loose and fall off easily. Basically just a piece of trash. Why didn't we just return it? It took 3 hours to get it together, I am not ready to even try to get it apart and box it up to go back. Very disappointed, this was not cheap.Me costó mucho montarlo correctamente, no quedaba equilibrado. Zusammenbau easy, weil passgenaue Teile. Eine gute Anschaffung.don't waste your money, wheels bent within 1 month of use and unfixable
